Everton fan put £20,000 aside for World Cup trip and ended up in £460m palace with a lion cub
An Everton fan who met a mega-rich Sheikh on his first day in Qatar has lifted the lid on the incredible meeting with the 'friendly' hosts and their lion cub.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, 23-year-old Alex Sullivan recalled an evening spent driving round in a Lamborghini and enjoying the company of wildlife in the personal zoo of a £460million palace.

PLAYER RATINGS: Anthony Gordon and Isaac Price star in win over Western Sydney Wanderers
Alex and his Dad, Tommy, went viral on social media over the weekend after an interview with TalkSPORT in which they claimed they had run into a member of the Emir of Qatar's family whilst at a supermarket trying to find some beers. The Toffees pair filmed their unusual evening as evidence of what sounds like an unbelievable story.
After being invited back to the multi-million palace, the father and son from the Wirral jumped into their new friends' Toyota Landcruiser and headed off. Upon arriving at the royal mansion, they drove in a Lamborghini, played FIFA 23 and, incredibly, wrestled with a lion cub.

Frank Lampard names Everton youngster who is in 'first team equation'
Frank Lampard said young star Isaac Price has put himself 'into the first team equation' with his performances during the club's trip to Australia.
The 19-year-old played the full 90 minutes against Celtic and Western Sydney Wanderers, impressing in both Sydney Super Cup fixtures. His displays were all the more significant due to the lack of recognised senior central midfielders around him. Abdoulaye Doucoure lasted just the first half against Celtic, though managed most of the 5-1 win over Wanderers.
Lampard praised all of the youngsters after six academy stars finished Wednesday's match on the pitch. They included goalscorer Tom Cannon and Stanley Mills, whose break into the box and shot created Cannon's goal.
Price made his Premier League debut in the final game of last season, playing for the last 12 minutes at Arsenal. He travelled with the Everton squad to the US for the club's pre-season tour and has trained regularly with the first team since.
