Everton face nine transfer decisions that could reshape Sean Dyche options

Everton are set to seal the first incoming deal of the Sean Dyche era, with the free transfer capture of Ashley Young.

The former Manchester United and Aston Villa man is understood to be having his medical today ahead of a switch to Goodison Park.

The Blues have already seen several players move on this summer, with Ellis Simms joining Coventry City, Niels Nkounkou heading to Saint-Etienne, a couple of loans ending and a handful of stars leaving at the end of their contracts.

While attention turns to who could follow Young through the doors at Finch Farm - there are also some big decisions to be made within the youth ranks.

Tom Cannon is back with the club following a successful stint at Preston, where he netted eight times in 20 Championship outings.

Also returning from loan is Jarrad Branthwaite. The 21-year-old defender will be targeting starts under Dyche after showcasing his talent with PSV Eindhoven.

Several more youngsters will be aiming to prove themselves as genuine options for the manager over the coming weeks - with Stanley Mills, Lewis Warrington and Francis Okoronkwo among them.

But what is the best next step in each case? Promotion to the senior setup, or a spell elsewhere?

Take our quick swipe poll below to have your say on nine starlets and what should happen next for them, should they be deemed ready to advance from the youth system.
