Everton have announced that Jack Nayler has taken over as Head of Sports Science for the Men's first team.
The former RB Leipzig man, who makes the move to Goodison Park after 15 months with the Bundesliga side, has extensive experience in elite level sport. He worked for nearly five years at Celtic as Head of Sports Science before moving to Germany and has previously worked with former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at clubs such as Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Nayler has a Masters degree in strength and conditioning and a degree in sports and exercise science, physiology, nutrition, pedagogy, psychology, biomechanics and sports medicine.

Speaking about the appointment to evertonfc.com, director of football Kevin Thelwell remarked: "Jack is one of the best in his profession and we are delighted for him to become a key part of our first team setup.
"He is hugely respected in the field of sports science, highlighted by the fact he has worked for some of the best clubs in Europe, and his expertise will further strengthen our talented backroom team at Everton."
Nayler is the latest in a number of changes that have taken place behind-the-scenes at Finch Farm since the arrival of Thelwell back in February, with multiple aspects of the club being improved and refocused under the new regime.
