Everton have confirmed the transfer of Amadou Onana from Lille on a five-year contract.
The 20-year-old has made the move to Merseyside for what has officially been described as an undisclosed fee. However, it is understood that the deal between the two clubs could be in excess of £30m if certain add-ons are met in the future.
The midfielder initially looked set to join West Ham United last week but it later transpired that Frank Lampard's side had propelled themselves to the front of the pack for his signature. The Belgium international was at Goodison Park on Saturday evening for the first time to watch his new side in their match against Chelsea, stopping to take a number of pictures with supporters while he was there.
