Everton confirm Abdoulaye Doucoure contract decision after transfer speculation

Abdoulaye Doucoure Everton Sean Dyche Bournemouth Leicester

Everton have activated the option to extend Abdoulaye Doucoure's contract by a further year.

The news came courtesy of the Toffees on Tuesday evening, with the ECHO reporting on Monday that a decision had been made on the future of the midfielder.

"Everton can confirm the club has activated the option to extend Abdoulaye Doucoure’s contract to the end of June 2024," read a statement on the Everton website.
