Everton are stepping up their transfer business ahead of the start of pre-season.
A deal to bring in centre-back James Tarkowski is effectively 'done' after his departure from Burnley while we revealed yesterday that Blues boss Frank Lampard is interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks.
And, according to the latest Everton transfer gossip, as well as Winks, Lampard could be returning to London and his former club Chelsea.

What
Seen at first as a player who could be part of a deal that would see Richarlison swap Everton for Tottenham Hotspur, it now appears that Winks could be his on his way to Goodison Park as a stand-alone transfer.
Sky Sports have followed the ECHO's lead by stating that talks for a player who has fallen out of favour under Antonio Conte in north London are under way.
With more than 100 Premier League appearances and 10 England caps under his belt, and still only 26, WInks is seen as someone who could improve the Blues' midfield by Lampard.

What
Chelsea could part ways with Hakim Ziyech following their takeover and Lampard is keen on raiding his old club for the Morocco international's services.
Ziyech has shown in flashes why the west London outfit signed him from Ajax in 2020. Having helped Thomas Tuchel's side win the UEFA Champions League in his first season, his second was less impressive and, according to reports from GiveMeSport, the £33m-man is being allowed to leave the club.
Should the 29-year-old want another crack at life in the Premier League away from Stamford Bridge, Lampard is said to be ready to hand him a lifeline.

What
Fresh off a stellar campaign in the Premier League while on loan with Southampton, Broja has supposedly caught the eye of Everton.
A number of clubs have shown interest in the talented 20-year-old. But, although the Toffees face competition for his signature, this hasn't stopped Lampard from being 'keen' on the Chelsea striker, according to 90min.
The uncertainty of attackers Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison is believed to be the driving force behind wanting Broja this summer.
