'Event of the century': Total solar eclipse draws visitors to sleepy European villages

Eclipse chasers have driven a tourist surge in sleepy towns and villages in Spain and several other parts of Europe as the continent gets set for its first total eclipse since 2006.

Millions of Europeans will contemplate the sky in awe on Wednesday as a rare total solar eclipse crosses part of the continent and plunges a swath of Spain into eerie daytime darkness.
