Owner Evangelos Marinakis has hailed the support from Nottingham Forest fans as the Reds look forward to another season in the Premier League.
Safety was secured with a game to spare when Steve Cooper’s side beat Arsenal little more than a week ago. It meant there was a party atmosphere in the away end at Crystal Palace on the final day of the campaign.
Forest supporters were in jubilant mood from the moment they set foot in the capital, and that continued throughout the afternoon and into the evening at Selhurst Park. After the whistle had blown on the 1-1 draw, there was then a special moment as fans, players and staff celebrated together.

Marinakis also joined in, making his way across the pitch before acknowledging the crowd. Posting on Instagram, he has now highlighted the incredible backing from the Reds faithful.
He wrote: “A strong team! Magnificent supporters! A fantastic atmosphere! @officialnffc #BELIEVE #TOGETHER #NFFC”
The Greek businessman had also been in attendance at the City Ground for Forest’s penultimate game and joined in the celebrations after that one, too. Afterwards, he reflected on his “wise decision” to stick with Cooper when he twice came under scrutiny due to runs of poor results.
“All the teams, without exception, other than Nottingham Forest, that were not doing well changed their coaches, even twice,” Marinakis told Sky Sports, after the 1-0 win over the Gunners. “It’s a very serious decision to change a coach.
“I think that I supported him as much as I could and also, let’s be honest, to change a coach you need to bring someone better. You need to bring someone better and to be available at the time.
“I think I took a wise decision and I supported Steve even though, of course, a lot of times you might agree, you might disagree. We are happy, we celebrate and now we have time to schedule again seriously and at the end of the day we are winners.”
