Former Derby County striker Darren Bent think dismissing Steve Cooper so early into the Premier League season would be "madness" despite Nottingham Forest's current form.
Forest are winless in their last five games with Cooper's side beaten in four of them. Cooper will know his side must start picking up results to climb out of the relegation zone and into safety.
Next up is a trip to the King Power Stadium against fellow strugglers Leicester City. The Foxes are just one place below Forest in 20th, having picked up only one point.

Although there is lots of talk from pundits about Cooper's job being 'on the line', talkSPORT presenter Bent had his say on the speculation over the Welsh boss' future at the City Ground. "When you sign this many players in one window, it's not that easy, it's not to embed 22 players," he said.
"He's got to embed them to play together, it's going to be incredibly difficult. His only saving grace and I guess it's a bit of a worry - it's really early in the season but we've already seen and spoke about it, six games in Thomas Tuchel, far more successful Chelsea than Steve Cooper at Nottingham Forest.
"We've seen managers who have won more and get sacked this early stage into the season. So no manager is, unless you're Pep [Guardiola] or [Jurgen] Klopp. Nobody in this planet believed that when Liverpool was going through a bit of a wobble that Klopp was not the right man to get them out of it.
"For Steve Cooper, I think it would be madness to get rid of him so early."
