Nottingham Forest supporters have been reacting to the news that sporting director Filippo Giraldi has been relieved of his duties at the club.
The former Watford transfer chief has left the City Ground after just six months with Forest confirming his departure in a statement on Tuesday evening.
Forest's mass recruitment strategy has been widely criticised this season, and while Giraldi was not in post for the summer transfer window, some still feel he is taking the blame for January's business at the City Ground.

Reds owner Evangelos Marinakis has also been offered a solution, with Forest urged to follow the Brighton and Brentford models.
This is what Forest fans are saying about the situation on social media...
@hannahforest : Well, I never... Giraldi sacked. I don't think he will be missed, but it underlines just how unstable things are behind the scenes at Forest. Magic on and off the pitch, though, right?
@jamiemcconville : Somebody had to carry the can for the January transfer window and Giraldi was dead man walking from the moment Wood, Shelvey and Ayew failed to have an impact.
@TheyCallHimR : Well, it’s never ever boring being a Nottingham Forest fan. At least we have that.
@Nesto25 : If anything screams 'We messed up in January'.
@Tnewton_1988 : It seems if you are responsible for signing a player make sure they are a success or you’ll be out the door in 4 to 6 months.
@forest_jay : Easier said than done, but EM needs to look at Brentford & Brighton. The clubs are incredibly well run. Brighton got gutted by Chelsea and managed to carry on building. It's not just about money, it's about having the right people making short, medium and long-term plans.
@KJMsport57 : More turmoil off the field. So much money being wasted on bad appointments. Let’s hope Gary Brazil is offered a new deal soon. We KNOW he’s good at his job.
