Nottingham Forest supporters have pushed back at suggestions that Evangelos Marinakis is a 'meddling owner' because of the club's summer signings.

It is well-documented the record-breaking scale of transfer business conducted at the City Ground this summer to prepare the squad for the Premier League and it has been the subject of much debate. Player-turned-pundit Danny Mills has now claimed that the Reds ' spending 'smacks of a meddling owner'.
