The city's Eurovision celebrations are in full swing and after yesterday's glorious weather, the bank holiday has got off to a very wet start.
Despite wet and gloomy skies for the King's Coronation day, Sunday saw a significant improvement with blue skies and sunshine as thousands headed to Liverpool for the highly anticipated Eurovision events. The sunshine came as a welcome break for many.
However, today, the Bank Holiday Monday, will see heavy rain and clouds for most of the day, bad news for anyone heading out. The Met Office forecast predicts it will likely rain all day in the Merseyside area with highs of 16C.
