So we now know the identity of the first crop of countries who will join the 'big five,' including host nation Italy in Saturday's Eurovision final.
Eurovision semi final 1 kicked off this year's contest on Tuesday night with well tipped acts in in the Eurovision odds like Ukraine's Kalusha Orchestra, Greece, The Netherlands and Norway's Subwoolfer It was down to Albania to kick things off with their song Sekret, before Lativa took to the stage, forcing Rylan Clark to issue a 'bad language' warning at the end of their performance.
Rylan was at the helm of the Eurovision semi final coverage, along with Scott Mills as this year's Eurovision hosts, including popstar Mika, presented from Turin's Pala Olimpico.

Bookies had their say on who they thought would go through before any of the acts had even set foot on the stage on Tuesday but it was down to the public to decide who they wanted to put through to the Eurovision 2022 final on Saturday night.
