King Charles butchered his major moment at the opening of this year's Eurovision stage in Liverpool.
The King was at the M&S Bank Arena in the city to reveal the music competition's stage to its eager fans.
Yet, many viewers couldn't help but notice His Majesty make a major error whilst appearing with Queen Camilla.
The Royal couple were tasked with pushing a button after a countdown, where a vibrant light show appeared to show off the new stage for this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
However, during today's BBC Breakfast show, hosts Charlie Stayt and Nina Warhurst noticed an error made by the King.
Playing the clip, they saw how King Charles missed the button and ended up pushing the stand instead.
Speaking to BBC viewers, Nina said: "The countdown has begun". Before Charlie interjected and said: "Who doesn't enjoy a countdown?
"When everyone counts down and someone presses a button and it all works perfectly?"
He added: "He puts his finger on the button but he’d didn’t actually push it. He misses the button and it’s the Queen who pushes the button because he just missed it."
Nina said: "He had to rely on his wife to get it right. Easily done in the heat of the moment. Perhaps he's overwhelmed. They got there in the end."
During their visit to the Eurovision venue, King Charles and Queen Camilla beamed as they got to meet TV star Rylan Clark and were presented with Blue Peter badges.
They were shown around the M&S Bank Arena and also met UK's Eurovision contestant Mae Muller.
Chatting with Mae, who will be singing I Wrote A Song, Charles told her: "Good luck, we’ll be watching with great interest, egging you on."
"Thank you!" she giggled. "No pressure. No nul points this year."
"No nul points," Camilla agreed.
The couple also enjoyed a brief behind-the-scenes tour, which couldn't be filmed to protect the secrecy of the show
Eurovision 2023 will take place in Liverpool after the UK was chosen to host the competition on behalf of Ukraine.
It will be the first time the competition has been held in the UK for 25 years. The grand final of the competition is due to take place on May 13.
