Eurovision fans were left convinced Australia entered a X Factor legend in disguise to represent them in the competition.
The non-European country entered rock band Voyager to put on their best performance in an effort to win, yet many were left distracted by the lead singer.
The frontman looked strikingly similar to a X Factor icon, which left many wondering if he was actually him.
As the band performed their hit Promise, many pointed out the singer looked just like Wagner.
One viewer asked: "Is there a reason Wagner is Australian’s entry for Eurovision this year?"
"The lead singer is like a 2000 AD version of Wagner," another pointed out.
Someone else asked: "Wagner is that you?"
One viewer joked: "Remember Wagner from X Factor? This is him now, feel old yet?"
"Wagner singing for Australia," commented one fan whilst another remarked: "He's giving me Wagner vibes."
Wagner appeared on our screens for the first time 13 years ago, entertaining viewers across the nation.
With his flamboyant dress sense and long hair, the Brazilian singing sensation had viewers watching in their millions during the peak of the show's success.
The singer, whose full name is Wagner Fiuza-Carillho, became famous for combining classic songs into one memorable performance, such as She Bangs and Love Shack.
The Eurovision Grand Final has seen 26 nations compete in the hopes of winning the top spot.
Hoping to win the crown for the UK is Mae Muller with her hit I Wrote A Song, following on from Sam Ryder's success at the 2022 competition.
Ukraine won Eurovision last year, faced the prospect of hosting the show in 2023, according to the rules of the competition.
But due to the Russian invasion, it wasn't possible.
The BBC agreed to host the competition in the UK in 2023 – and Liverpool was picked as the host city to hold the star-studded event.
Beating a shortlist of other UK cities, including Manchester, Glasgow and Sheffield, the song contest will take place in Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, located in the historic Royal Albert Dock.
Speaking about why the city had been chosen, BBC’s Director General, Tim Davie, said: "Congratulations to Liverpool. They will be an amazing host for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. Liverpool is such an exciting, warm and vibrant city.
"It's the undisputed capital of pop music and is celebrating the 65th anniversary of its twinning with the Ukrainian city of Odesa.
"I know the people of Liverpool will welcome Europe – and the rest of the world – with open arms, and in partnership we will create something truly special."
