Eurovision 2022: Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra are bookies favourites to win with their track Stefania

After the first semi-finals of Eurovision 2022 there seems to be a clear winner ahead of Saturday night, according to the bookies odds. Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra was successful in getting through to the final in Turin - along with nine other countries - with their traditional-hip-hop fusion track, Stefania.

The odds of them winning have now shot ahead to a 47% chance, with Eurovision website, eurovisionworld.com collating all the bookmaker's odds, here. UK's Sam Ryder with Space Man is third favourite to win with a 10% chance, with Italy sandwiched in between UK and Ukraine, in second place with a 15% chance.

Ukraine's entry, Kalush Orchestra is an eclectic band and includes rapper Oleh Psiuk, multi-instrumentalist Ihor Didenchuk, dancer Vlad Kurochka, sopilka player Vitalii Duzhyk, and vocalists Tymofii Muzychuk and Oleksandr Slobodianyk. The collective combine traditional Ukrainian folk music with modern rap and hip hop, creating a unique sound.

The other countries through to the grand final, which is taking place in Italy on Saturday, May 14 following Måneskin's 2021 success, are Switzerland, Armenia, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, Greece, Moldova and the Netherlands.

Semi-final two will take place on Thursday, May 12 from 8pm. It will be aired on BBC Three. The participating countries are: Australia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Finland, Georgia, Israel, Malta, San Marino, Serbia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ireland, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania and Sweden.
