Recent overnight attacks on French train lines have had a significant impact on Eurostar's high-speed service between the United Kingdom and France. Due to the attacks, all trains have been rerouted onto older 'classic' lines, resulting in an additional 90 minutes added to passenger journeys. Furthermore, one train, the 15:31 service, has been canceled.
Despite these disruptions, the atmosphere at London's St. Pancras Station, the departure point for Eurostar services, remains calm and cheerful. Travelers can be seen forming queues as they patiently wait to pass through security checkpoints.
Once inside the station, passengers are being provided with sandwiches and snacks while they await their boarding announcements. Although some trains are running slightly behind schedule, passengers seem to be taking the delays in stride.
