The high-speed train service that connects the UK with France will cancel one in four trains from Friday to Sunday, after a sequence of attacks on French railway lines disrupted travel ahead of the Paris Olympic Games. Eurostar implemented the measures due to the “coordinated acts of malice” on French train lines, according to a statement on Friday.
The company said it is encouraging customers to postpone their travel plans. Earlier today, sources witnessed calm scenes at London’s St. Pancras Station — where the Eurostar departs from — despite earlier scheduling changes.
