In a joint statement issued after the meeting, the European leaders emphasized the importance of pursuing a two-state solution as the key to achieving lasting peace and stability in the region. They highlighted the vision of Israeli and Palestinian states coexisting peacefully and securely alongside each other.

The Prime Ministers of Spain, Ireland, Malta, and Slovenia also underscored the urgent need for immediate actions to address the ongoing crisis in Gaza. They called for an immediate ceasefire, the unconditional release of hostages, and a significant increase in humanitarian aid to Gaza to alleviate the suffering of the affected population.

The discussions among the European leaders reflect a shared commitment to promoting peace and security in the Middle East region. By expressing their support for a two-state solution and advocating for humanitarian assistance to Gaza, the Prime Ministers demonstrated their dedication to addressing the complex challenges facing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
