Nottingham Forest new boy Danilo has spoken for the first time after joining the club on a six-and-a-half-year contract.
Forest confirmed the midfielder's arrival from Palmeiras on Monday evening, making him their second winter signing following fellow Brazilian Gustavo Scarpa. Reds supporters will love to hear that Danilo has been researching the club, and noted the two European Cups victories in his first interview.
He has also spoken about the influence Gustavo Scarpa had on his decision to move to the City Ground, with his former Palmeiras teammate and midfield colleague arriving at the start of the month.

"I’m really happy to be fulfilling my dream of playing in the Premier League and playing for Nottingham Forest," Danilo told Forest's official website.
"I learnt a bit about the history of the club and saw they had won two European Cups. I spoke to Gustavo Scarpa as well, and he told me that Nottingham is a great city and Forest have a quality squad with really good staff.
"I will show a lot of determination and a strong desire to win and will always look to do my best on the pitch to achieve positive results. I’m excited about getting started and meeting my new teammates."
