Get ready for a dose of staycation inspiration as two UK beaches have been named amongst the best in Europe for 2022 in new rankings from Tripadvisor.
Bamburgh Beach in Northumberland and Luskentyre beach on the Isle of Harris have both been crowned amongst the top 10 most incredible European beaches in the travel website's annual Traveler's Choice Awards- and it's not difficult to see why.
Both boast pristine sandy shores, beautiful views and some cool features, and have long been a firm favourite with holidaymakers and intrepid explorers.
Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris is already one of our top picks of ridiculously beautiful UK beaches that could be mistaken for Caribbean shores, what with its fine white sands, lush green scenery and eye-catching rocky landscape.

Its remote location means that the shoreline is unspoiled, not to mention there are rarely many people around.
In fact, if you do come across other visitors, they will often be birdwatchers as the region plays host to a whole array of species.
On a sunny day, it could be easy to forget you're not actually in the Caribbean - although judging by some visitors' reviews, the cold waters can be a stark reminder.
Meanwhile, Bamburgh Beach in Northumberland has also impressed visitors, and claimed a top 10 spot in the rankings.
Bamburgh has already been named one of the UK's prettiest seaside towns so it's not surprising that its pristine, golden sandy beach is also proving a hit with both locals and tourists.
The beach also offers up some unrivalled views of the picturesque Bamburgh Castle which sits on a nearby hill, so explorers can enjoy both the beautiful coast and a trip to the historic castle all in one easy trip.
Although the shore is sandy, this spot is a less of a 'lay out on your towel' beach, and more an area that's better suited for a scenic stroll at low tide.
During the winter months, it's even served as a great place for seeing the Northern Lights!
Of course it wasn't all about UK beaches when it came to Europe's best rankings. The spectacular Spiaggia dei Conigli in Lampedusa, Italy, was named Europe's must-visit beach.
In fact, it also made it into the rankings of the world's most beautiful beaches under the same awards, impressing visitors with its white sands and abundance of marine life.
