Europe is full of brilliant cheap holidays - but there's one city where you could get a weekend away for less than £250, including your flights.
Podgorica in Montenegro might not be the most recognisable name when it comes to dream holiday destinations, but it certainly offers good value for money.
According to a study conducted by holiday experts Jersey Island Holidays, a two day break in the city can cost you from just £222.
For that price two people can secure return flights, taxis around the city, meals out, tickets to local attractions and two nights in a hotel.
In comparison, the same package in Zug, Switzerland would cost £1,022 - making it the most expensive place for a short stay in Europe.
Aside from being an absolute bargain, there are plenty of reasons why visiting Podgorica is a good idea.
The city is vibrant and boasts a unique blend of old and new architecture, as well as a rich history and thriving arts scene.
Podgorica is also home to a number of beautiful parks, stunning riverside views, and some of the best nightlife in the Balkans.
When it comes to unmissable sites, Petrovic Castle, built in 1891, sits in the largest public park in the city and is undeniably grand and beautiful.
The 19m clock tower in the city centre was built in the 17th century and is fairly distinctive, while the 15th century mosque is worth checking out for its historical significance alone.
The green and leafy city is also easy to get around, with 12km of public walkways which snake through the city.
For those who like to hike, some stunning and verdant mountain sides are a short drive away, while the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea are around 50km away.
In terms of eating, Restaurant Zlatibor is widely viewed as the best spot to try the delights of Montenegro cuisine.
The fish soup is rated very highly as is the rest of the aquatic items on the menu, which are freshly caught from the nearby Skadar lake.
Other delicacies to try while you are there include; a cevapi, a type of grilled minced meat served in a flatbread with raw onions; kroštule, fried dough shaped into a bow and sprinkled with sugar; and kacamak, mix of cornmeal and potatoes served with yogurt, cheese, and kajmak.
If you are more concerned with having a liquid holiday rather than tucking into specific local cuisine, a pint of local draft beer will knock you back about £2 and a 33cl bottle about £1.20.
Once you've drunk your fill of Podgorica and everything that it has to offer, then extending your holiday with a trip into the countryside is not a bad idea.
Explore Kotor Old Town, which is nestled on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, is an ancient city that is filled with cobblestone streets, historic churches, and plenty of shops and restaurants.
Happily it is well connected with Podgorica, taking less than two hours on a bus which costs around £5.
Durmitor National Park is 150km to the north of the capital but is well worth the journey thanks to its stunning views and numerous hiking trails.
