Every detail West Ham fans need to know ahead of the Europa Conference League group stage draw

West Ham United's group stage opponents in the UEFA Europa Conference League will be discovered on Friday.

The Hammers have reached the group stage after comfortably seeing off Danish outfit Viborg in the play-off qualifying round, beating them 3-1 at the London Stadium last week before winning 3-0 in Denmark.

Goals from Gianluca Scamacca, Said Benrahma and Tomas Soucek on Thursday night saw them secure safe passage into the group stages. Ahead of Friday's draw, here are all of the details you need to know ahead of the draw.

When is the draw?

The draw is taking place on Friday, August 26, in Istanbul, Turkiye. The draw will take place at 1:30pm UK time.

Who could they face in the group stages?

The Hammers secured a place in the group stage and the final spot in Pot 1 following their convincing win in Denmark. That means that they have avoided last season's Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal in the group stages of the competition.

David Moyes' side will be drawn against a team from each pot, meaning West Ham will grouped with a Pot 2, Pot 3 and Pot 4 side.

There will be six group stage ties taking place for each side, with each team facing each of their group stage opponents home and away. Those ties will take place on the following dates.
