The following numbers were called in that draw: 6, 12, 34, 37, and 49.
The top prize in Ireland was just €827 in the main draw, while five other players dotted across Europe scooped €106,815 after matching five numbers and one lucky star.
The numbers called were: 6, 16, 17, 25, and 31, with the lucky stars 2 and 6.
As there was no winner of the mega jackpot worth over €50 million, Irish players will have another shot at a life-changing amount this Friday.
Meanwhile, one lucky Irish Lotto player managed to win thousands of euro last week in a draw they didn’t buy a Lotto ticket for.
The Waterford player reportedly turned a free bet into an incredible win after taking on some extreme odds on the draw.
The anonymous Boyle Sports customer had a €2 free bet sitting in their app account and decided to take on mammoth odds of 3,800/1 on four numbers to be called out in the Irish Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday evening.
According to the betting company, the four numbers they chose were 11, 12, 19 and 25 “and three had rolled out within the main six numbers before 11 dropped out as the bonus to trigger the four-figure windfall,” a statement said.
The lucky winner was able to log back in shortly afterwards to see a grand total of €7,600 added to their balance.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Fair play to our County Waterford customer for their ambitious thinking.
“The odds are there to be shot at and they have €7,600 to show for it, so we send our congratulations and hope they enjoy splashing out.”
Meanwhile, Ireland’s Lotto draw on Saturday, June 4, saw over 91,000 players scooping prizes across the main draw, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2.
Although the mega jackpot, worth €2,796,276 went unclaimed once again, there were 22 players that scooped a tidy sum.
After matching five numbers, each player will be awarded €1,473 as soon as they make contact with the National Lottery.
