A EuroMillions player in Ireland won a life-changing €500,000 in Friday night’s draw.
The punter scooped the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw after matching all five numbers.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the lucky ticket was sold in Cork.

The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw were: 9, 15, 16, 38 and 46.
Meanwhile there was no winner of the mega €196,414,962 EuroMillions jackpot.
The winning numbers for the main EuroMillions draw were: 6, 18, 24, 34, 46 and lucky stars 3 and 12.
In total, over 77,000 players in Ireland won prizes between the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games.
It comes just days after the Lotto jackpot was won.
The lucky player now stands to become an eye-watering €5,612,385 richer.
The National Lottery has confirmed the lucky ticket was sold in the Day Today store in Slaney Place, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford on Wednesday - the day of the draw.
The winner has already made contact with Lotto bosses and arrangements are being made for the prize to be paid.
The Wexford player is the sixth Lotto jackpot winner of 2022 following wins by players in Mayo, Meath, Dublin (2) and Kilkenny. The Wexford winner is also the 21 st National Lottery millionaire of this year.
