EuroMillions results: Irish player scoops life-changing prize as new millionaire crowned

One Irish EuroMillions player is now a millionaire after Friday's draw saw the special 'Ireland Only' raffle won in Sligo.

The main jackpot of just over €20 million went up for grabs, with a rollover from Tuesday night after a big win last Friday for a player in Switzerland.

The winning numbers were: 3, 29, 33, 35, 44 and the Lucky Stars numbers were 8 and 10.

The Plus draw winning numbers were: 2, 33, 34, 39 and 50.

But Irish eyes will certainly be smiling after tonight's draw saw a guaranteed millionaire.

On Friday night, August 5, the Winning Ireland Only Raffle numbers were:

  • I-NBF-12192,
  • I-NBF-65003,
  • I-NBJ-46862,
  • I-NBL-97736,
  • I-NBN-68490,
  • I-NBP-50490,
  • I-NBP-84616,
  • I-NBP-99192,
  • I-NBQ-00330
  • I-NBQ-18132.

But one punter who had I-NBF-65003 is Ireland's newest millionaire - and the National Lottery have confirmed the ticket was bought in Sligo.

Every player in Ireland who buys a ticket for any Friday EuroMillions draw between the 5th and 26th of August will be automatically entered into the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ for that corresponding draw.

A unique code on each ticket will be the player’s raffle number. Four players over the four weeks will become guaranteed millionaires.

The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep them safe. The lucky winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2021 alone, €304 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
