EuroMillions jackpot: What are your odds of winning the £191 million prize?

The EuroMillions jackpot stands at a whopping £191 million ahead of Tuesday's big draw. If you're hoping to be the lucky winner, you'd best hope your luck's in, because the odds of correctly picking all seven numbers stand at one in 139,838,160.

It's a life-changing sum of money. Matching all seven numbers - five balls from one to 50 and two lucky stars - will bag you the whole jackpot. Match five main numbers and one lucky star and you'll pocket a handsome £130,554.

For those who don't like to aim too high, matching just two main numbers gets you your £2.50 ticket money back. According to the National Lottery, your odds of winning the lowest prize is one in 22, with your odds of winning any prize at all standing at one in 13.

How do the odds compare?

If you don't fancy taking a risk on the Euromillions, why not scale down slightly to the National Lottery? Since its inception in 1994, it has created at least 6,500 millionaires.

The odds of taking home its jackpot stand at a respectable one in 45,000,000. After four games, if the jackpot still hasn't been won, it transforms from a quadruple rollover to a must-be-won draw.

In a Lotto Must Be Won draw, if no one wins the jackpot by matching six main numbers, there’s a rolldown. This means the jackpot is shared by players matching two or more main numbers, so thousands can expect to win a boosted cash prize.

There's also the Thunderball, where the odds of winning the £500,000 are an even nicer sounding one in 8 million and Lotto's Set For Life. Players matching five main numbers and the life ball can take home £10,000 every month for 30 years, and matching just five main numbers nets you £10,000 every month for a year. The odds of taking home the top prize are one in 15,339,390.

So whatever takes your fancy, there are plenty of options.
