Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has been discussing her financial worries and the reality of being an actress in 2022.
The two-time Emmy Award nominated star, 24, confessed she is constantly working in order to pay bills and maintain her lifestyle, and broke down her salary and where every penny goes.
The Cassie Howard actress says she doesn't "have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help" in her latest interview discussing her impressive career.
Sydney has become a household name over recent years, thanks to her breakthrough roles in HBO hit drama Euphoria and a supporting role in black comedy anthology series, The White Lotus.
Prior to becoming a Gen Z icon starring alongside Zendaya in Euphoria, Sydney had guest roles on shows such as Pretty Little Liars and Grey's Anatomy - before going on to appear on 2018 HBO miniseries Sharp Objects with Golden Globe winner Amy Adams.
Despite being one of the biggest rising stars in Hollywood right now, Sydney still worries about juggling a personal life - including starting a family one day - alongside taking a break from her career.
"I want to have a family, I've always wanted to be a young mom, and I'm worried about how this industry puts stigmas on young women who have children and looks at them in a different light," she told the Hollywood Reporter in a recent interview.
"I was worried that, if I don't work, there is no money and no support for kids I would have."
The talented star - who received financial aid to help pay for private school and college - went on to explain how she makes sure she is always booked and busy to cope with the rising cost of living.
"If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don't have income to cover that," she confessed. "I don't have someone supporting me, I don't have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help."
She went on to revealing how her salary is split, explaining: "They don't pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals.
"The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that's more than my mortgage."
Sydney went on to reveal she takes brand deals - like becoming a Miu Miu ambassador - and jobs outside of the acting industry because she wouldn't be able to "afford my life in L.A" otherwise.
The actress - who is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Jonathan Davino - has become a favourite with critics and fans alike since gaining mainstream recognition.
Earlier this year, it was announced the 24-year-old actress is set to join Dakota Johnson for upcoming superhero film Madame Web, set in the Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) media franchise.
