EU ‘set to dedicate €1billion solely on artillery supply production for Ukraine’

The European Union is planning to dedicate €1billion (£887million) to the production of artillery shells for Ukraine, according to an internal document.

Last December, the bloc pledged a further €2billion (£1.7billion) in funding for Ukraine under its European Peace Facility having already committed €3.6billion (£3.1billion) in military aid.
