European Union leaders gathered in Brussels to address the ongoing challenges posed by Russia's actions in Ukraine and the potential for a trade war with the United States. The Polish Prime Minister expressed concerns about the possibility of conflict among allies in the face of direct threats from Russia and Chinese expansion.

Since assuming office, U.S. President Donald Trump has raised tensions by threatening tariffs on EU imports and suggesting military action to acquire Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark. European leaders are puzzled by Trump's lack of clarity on resolving the conflict in Ukraine and his aggressive trade policies.
