St Mirren midfielder Ethan Erhahon could leave the Paisley club before the January transfer window slams shut tomorrow night.
The Buddies have been hoping to hang onto the Scotland under-21 international, who was close to joining Forest Green Rovers earlier this month before the move broke down.
Now Football Insider report that English League One side Lincoln City have agreed a £300,000 swoop for the Saints star. That could see the academy product move to England before the window closes, leaving Stephen Robinson little time to bring in a replacement.
Erhahon has been a key cog in St Mirren 's midfield this season, missing only a handful of games through suspension after his sending off against Kilmarnock. With his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, it looks likely the club will cash on one of their key assets now rather than lose him for a smaller training compensation fee in the summer.
His midfield counterpart Keanu Baccus has also been heavily linked with a move away from the SMiSA Stadium, but as yet looks to be staying in Paisley in this window. The Australia international's contract runs to the summer of 2024.
