Esteban Ocon has published a social post featuring his new customised Mansory Lamborghini Revuelto. Posting a photo of him standing beside his new V12 hypercar, Ocon kept the caption short: "First drive," it read.
The car wears a predominantly black paint job with red accents, a contrast that the customisation company has often leant into in its recognisable builds.
Mansory, the German-based luxury tuning company, is famous for turning already extreme supercars into even more ridiculous bespoke builds through the use of large wheels, exposed carbon fibre and aggressive aero styling. The Revuelto, Lamborghini's first series-production V12 hybrid, is already a visual statement and has been made even more jaw-dropping with the addition of the Mansory parts.
Explore the tuner's website and you'll see that Ocon's car is a one-of-one. This Initiate model is the outfit's first partnership with Formula 1, and is entirely designed to suit the Frenchman's personal preferences. To further establish the pairing, the Haas driver will be wearing the Mansory logo on his helmet. "There is much more to come," the site further teases.
Ocon's post quickly drew an influx of approval from his followers. “Not a GR Yaris but it’ll do," one fan joked as another added: "No more 10 sec penalty now...”
While a full spec sheet is yet to be shared, the Revuelto boasts incredible performance as the Italian brand's halo car, replacing the legendary Aventador. At its heart sits a 6.5-litre V12 producing 825 horsepower. Paired with three electric motors - two mounted on the front axle and one within the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox - the car creates a total output of 1051 horsepower. This makes it the most powerful car ever built by the marque.
Lamborghini quotes a 0-62mph time of just 2.5 seconds, while 124mph is dispatched in under seven seconds. Keep your foot in it and Ocon will be flying at 217mph.
While the hybrid system is partly used to improve efficiency on the road, the 3.8kWh battery also allows for immediate throttle response as it fills in the torque gaps of a traditional powertrain. It also allows for torque vectoring across the front axle.
Boasting almost 190,000 likes within 20 hours of posting, it's clear that fans love the car just as much as Ocon does. Have your say in the comments...
