Families heading overseas for a summer trip have been issued with a 'Super Six' package of tips to make sure their journeys are as stress-free as possible - despite airport disruption and ferry terminal delays. Travel trade group ABTA has released the guidance ahead of what is expected to be the busiest period for travellers since before the pandemic.
According to ABTA’s latest research, three in four (75 per cent) families are set to be travelling overseas this summer, with almost half planning to enjoy a beach break (47 per cent), a third opting for an all-inclusive holiday (33 per cent) and one in five jetting off on a city break (19 per cent).
