The Esports World Cup 2026 is set to begin with a spectacular opening ceremony featuring some of the biggest names in music before the world's leading gamers take centre stage. Fans can expect a blend of live entertainment, high-tech production and esports celebrations as the tournament officially gets under way.
Originally planned to take place in Riyadh, this year's event has been moved to Paris following security concerns related to the conflict in the Middle East. Despite the venue change, organisers have confirmed that the tournament will proceed as scheduled, with thousands of players competing across multiple esports titles over the coming weeks.
