ESPN’s Booger McFarland Calls CFP Selections ‘Travesty to the Sport’ After FSU Gets Snubbed

Everyone knew going into Sunday’s College Football Playoff selection show that there was going to be drama with the four picks, and that’s exactly what happened, as Alabama got in at the No. 4 spot while undefeated Florida State got left out at No. 5. 

The Crimson Tide, of course, beat Georgia in the SEC title game on Saturday and has just one loss on the season. They will face No. 1 Michigan in one semifinal, while No. 2 Washington will face No. 3 Texas in the other semifinal.

FSU won the ACC title and didn’t lose a game all season, even after it lost its starting quarterback to an injury. 

ESPN’s Booger McFarland blasted the decision to leave FSU out of the playoffs, calling it a “travesty to the sport.” He argued that the Seminoles should have gotten in because of what they did all season on the field and that Alabama should not have gotten in.
