Espanyol admit that star striker Raul de Tomas could leave the club before deadline day amid recent links with a move to Manchester United.

COPE say talks between the two clubs for a possible transfer have started and that the overall fee for this deal could be around £25 million. It is understood the 27-year-old has a £60million release clause in his current contract.
