If you ask Swansea locals what parties or festivals they remember from the late '90s and noughties, one word is sure to be mentioned time and time again: Escape.
An epic one-day festival, full name 'Escape Into The Park,' Escape brought top DJs and musicians to Swansea throughout 1995 to 2011 and saw thousands of people dance, sing and party the night away every year - until it took a shock hiatus.
After a decade without Escape, it emerged from the ashes and made an epic come-back last September, after being postponed from June 2021 due to the pandemic - and it's set to be revived again this summer.

Escape Music Events, the company behind the festival, took to social media on Monday to announce that the festival would be returning to Singleton Park this summer.
Organisers have confirmed that the newly-named Escape Festival will be in Singleton Park on Saturday, August 20 2022 and will be "bigger and better" than ever before - with some 10,000 people set to fill the crowds.
Whilst the line-up has not yet been announced, organisers say they're "going harder" than ever before and have added extra outdoor areas to the ever-popular event.
Tickets are set to go on sale on Tuesday, February 1, with festival-goers urged to pre-register for priority access.
Confirming the festival will take place this year, Escape Music Events wrote on Facebook: "Escape: You asked, we delivered.
"We can't thank you enough for coming to party with us in Singleton Park last year.
"It was some party, hey, with 10,000 of you back in its home in Singleton Park all safe and well. It brings us great joy to do it all over again this year.
"So.... we are coming back and 2022 will be bigger and better! We've listened to you and now we're bringing: a new summer date, more outdoor areas.
"Plus, we're going harder.
"It's gonna be special, we hope you can join is in the sun. Yes, the sun. We've moved the date to August 20.
"Don't miss this. Get your tickets early. They will be cheaper and you are guaranteed to get it. This will sell out as we did last year.
"Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, February 1! Pre-register for priority access to discounted tickets. Come party with us. We love you!"

What is Escape Festival?
Escape Festival first launched back in 1995 as a small dance-music festival - but soon gained momentum, quickly gaining something of a cult following among Swansea locals and people across Wales, whilst drawing huge crowds and luring top musicians and international DJs to the stage.
Right from its first event in the 1990s, the festival has played a crucial role in nourishing the emergence of dance music and culture - as revellers will remember - and its return last year was praised by revellers across the city and beyond.
