ESB has issued an ‘extremely hazardous’ warning to homeowners across the country as the bank holiday weekend approaches.
With a number of sporting events and festivals due to take place across the weekend, the public is being asked to avoid putting any bunting or flags on or near electricity poles.
Citing the dangers associated with this, an ESB spokesperson said the live wires are incredibly dangerous and can cause death.
