Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Moammar al-Eryani called on the international community, the UN, and the Security Council's permanent members to take a clear and firm stance against Iranian interference in Yemeni affairs.
Eryani said that Houthi leaders visit Iran and Lebanon to meet with "symbols of Iranian axis of evil to receive instruction on the truce," noting that this confirms that the militia does not have war and peace decisions and it's used as a tool to implement the Iranian agenda in the region.
The minister tweeted that the Houthi militia continues its "subordination and submission to Iran and implement its expansionist and destructive policies to destabilize security and stability of the region, disregard bloodshed since the coup, deteriorating political and economic situation and aggravating human suffering of Yemenis."
Eryani reiterated that the international community, the UN, and the permanent members of the Security Council are required to "take a clear and firm position on Iranian interference in Yemeni affairs," urging them to "pressure the leaders of the terrorist Houthi militia to engage seriously and in good faith in de-escalation and peace efforts."
