Rams starting linebacker Ernest Jones IV was a nonparticipant today at practice, something that is becoming a concern for the team. Jones has been plagued by an injury bug that started in OTAs and has continued till now.
When asked about his injury, Sean McVay cited a lingering knee injury as the reason for Jones’ absence. It’s the same injury that hindered Jones during OTAs in the spring.
Jones said earlier this offseason that he was feeling good after slimming down a bit, taking some of the wear off his knee, but it seems this issue has popped up again.
Sean McVay said LB Ernest Jones IV is dealing with the "same" knee injury that limited him during OTAs. Didn't see Jones at practice today.

While his knee issues call for precaution, as of writing, signs point toward Jones being ready to go for the team’s season opener next month.
Elsewhere in Rams injury news, Beaux Limmer banged his thumb in practice today and had to exit early, while Brennan Jackson has missed the last couple of days with a soft-tissue injury.
