Gundogan sets challenge for Haaland
Ilkay Gundogan has welcomed Erling Haaland in to Manchester City with a challenge, after the club's new No.9 namechecked the German when discussing his reasons for moving to the Etihad Stadium.
Haaland is a £51million addition from Borussia Dortmund, who faced City in the Champions League quarter-finals in 2021. City edged the tie and progressed to the semi-finals, though much of the post-match reaction centred around Haaland's apparent admiration for the venue and his conversations with Phil Foden.

In an event to unveil the club's new signings, Haaland was asked what he remembered of the two games with City last year. In response, Haaland said he barely touched the ball and called out Gundogan for his performance.
Chelsea star Chilwell fires title warning
Returning defender Ben Chilwell has pinpointed the area that Chelsea must improve on if they want to break City and Liverpool's five-year hold on the Premier League title.
City and Liverpool have shared the title in the last five seasons with four trophies heading to City, but two campaigns were settled by just a point. Both sides, when operating with a fully-fit squad, are by far the best in the Premier League although Chelsea have occasionally looked capable of threatening the dominance.
Chilwell has now laid down a marker to City and Liverpool, warning them Chelsea are ready to break their hold on the title and add the consistency they've lacked to their game.
