Erling Haaland has revealed his bizarre diet that consists of eating heart and liver after the Manchester City man struck his 20th goal of the season on Saturday.
The Norwegian has took to the Premier League by storm and has already struck 15 times from nine matches in the top-flight so far this term - seven more than any other player. There were hopes that Haaland could quickly adapt to life in England but not many would've expected him to score as many as he has.
However, the 22-year-old has opened up about his insane diet which has helped him become one of the most lethal finishers in world football. Haaland follows a strict eating plan, something he touched on in a documentary titled 'Haaland: The Big Decision'.
The interviewer pulled out a number of meat products, including chunks of cow's heart and liver, asking Haaland if this is what he eats to stay at the top of his game. Haaland eats around 6000 calories a day to keep his body in tip-top condition as he tries to break more records in the near future.
He said: "You (other people) don't eat this, but I am concerned with taking care of my body. I think eating quality food that is as local as possible is the most important.
"People say meat is bad for you but which? The meat you get at McDonald's? Or the local cow eating grass right over there? I eat the heart and the liver."

He goes on to explain the complex water filtration system he uses, while stressing how important sunlight is. Haaland revealed that he tries to get some sun as soon as he wakes up in the morning, and also mentioned a circadian rhythm, which is an internal process in the body that regulates the sleeping and waking up pattern.
He continued: "The first thing I do in the morning is to get some sunlight in my eyes - it is good for circadian rhythm. I have also started to filtrate my water a bit. I think it can have great benefits for my body."
It had been revealed that one of Haaland's secrets to success was a pre-match lasagne made by his father, Alfie Haaland. The forward eats that before every home game and Pep Guardiola made a swift joke about the meal ahead of his side's game against Southampton on Friday.
The City manager said: "We can make an offer for Erling’s father to cook for us. If this is the secret of Erling’s goals, I will convince (Chairman) Khaldoon (Al Mubarak) to bring him here! But I don’t think there’s just one secret."
