Erling Haaland has refused to be drawn into the debate about his goal tally - after Roy Keane predicted he will hit break the 20 barrier in his first Premier League campaign.
Manchester United legend Keane outlined how he cannot see a scenario where Haaland scores less than 20 goals after joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund. Speaking ahead of the Community Shield on ITV at the weekend, Keane said: "Brilliant, brilliant player.
"Good age, 22, he hasn’t peaked yet, he’s working with a brilliant team, brilliant manager, he’s got all the attributes, you can’t imagine him not scoring 20 goals, you just can’t.
"If he stays fit, he’s obviously got the right attitude what a signing, you used a word there… exciting, that’s exactly what this young kid is and I’m excited to watch him over the next few months."

However, Haaland insists debate about how many goals he will score is "boring" after being quizzed on the matter by Sky Sports. Asked if he has set a target for the season, the Norwegian replied: "No. I have to say, a boring question. This is something I don't do.
"The most important is to perform well on the pitch and win games," he added. When interviewer Geoff Shreeves suggested he must've expected the question, he replied: "Of course, every time this comes but I never answer it!"
Haaland also insisted that he has no "favourite" type of goal, adding that the feeling is just as good whenever the ball hits the back of the net.
"I love every single goal, I have to say!," he explained. "It doesn't matter if it's a tap-in, if it's a long shot, every kind of goal has the good feeling. This feeling, I want to achieve as much as I can."
There are high hopes for the 22-year-old to transform City's attack and lead the line under Pep Guardiola. However, Haaland was frustrated coming up against a resolute Liverpool defence marshalled by Virgil van Dijk in the Community Shield.
City's last great No.9, Sergio Aguero, believes it was a 'welcome to the Premier League' moment when he faced Van Dijk. Aguero said on his Twitch channel: "He was too used to Germany, Haaland thought he was alone, then Van Dijk arrived and said 'welcome to the Premier League'."
