Superstar Erling Haaland IS NOT travelling to Glasgow after the Borussia Dortmund ace did not board the flight out with his team-mates on Wednesday morning.
The Norwegian striker - who has bagged 28 goals for club and country this season - hasn’t featured in any of the Bundesliga side’s last four games as he battles an adductor injury.
That included Rangers’ thumping 4-2 win over Marco Rose’s men in the first leg of their Europa League tie in the Westfalenstadion last week..
The 21-year-old had returned to full training in recent days but there was still a doubt over his fitness for the game.
And German journalist Sebastian Weßling, who covers BVB, reports that he did not fly out with the squad.
He wrote: "Bad news for Dortmund.
"BVB travel to Glasgow without Erling Haaland."
Haaland’s absence is a huge blow to Borussia Dortmund who must overturn a two-goal deficit after their home hammering.
But midfielder Axel Witsel told Record Sport : "The tie is not over we will not accept that. We have not put ourselves in easy position for the game in Glasgow - but we can’t believe the tie is over.
“We have the quality to go and produce a big result. It doesn’t matter that we have injuries our squad is big enough and has enough quality to cope.”
