Leeds United supporters are dreading coming up against Erling Haaland in a weeks time after the Manchester City striker opened the scoring against Liverpool. It took the Norwegian striker just ten minutes to find the back of the net at the Etihad in their Carabao Cup clash with the Reds after a six week break for the World Cup.
The Whites shipped four goals against Ligue 1 opposition AS Monaco in their final warm-up game before Premier League action. A calamitous eight minutes saw Jesse Marsch's side ship three goals and go 4-1 down on the evening.
Supporters questioned what the Whites coaching staff had worked on during the break with their defensive frailties laid bare. Leeds will take on Pep Guardiola's side on Wednesday, 28 December.
