As Erling Haaland walked into the press conference room at the Etihad on Sunday, shortly after meeting Manchester City fans outside in the sun, he sat down, leaned back, and made himself at home.
Just as the first question began, Haaland stopped the reporter and got himself a cup of water before allowing the question to continue, and he wasn't afraid not to answer any question he didn't want to. In the past, Haaland's been known for one-word answers in interviews, but he used his opportunity here to send a message to City and anyone else listening.
More interesting than any answer-evasion, though, was what he did actually say, and that message will have been heard loud and clear on how City can get the best out of him.
