Erling Haaland says he has been frustrated in recent games over his Manchester City teammates failing to provide the service he wants.
Haaland has raced into the lead for the Golden Boot, with 26 goals from his first 22 Premier League appearances, and 32 goals in 30 outings for City in total. However, whenever he doesn't score - such as last week's two outings against Tottenham and Aston Villa - questions arise over how Haaland best fits into the City team.
While the Norwegian has a philosophical view of his place in City's system, he also told Alan Shearer this week that he is frustrated when teammates pass up chances to send a ball forward for him to run onto, or put in a cross for him to attack.

"It's frustrating," he told Shearer in an interview with Amazon Prime, prior to his 26th Premier League goal of the season at Arsenal.
"Either the players don't see me or things it's another good chance to do something else. It's up to other players around me. It's about chemistry. I've been here seven months, it's getting a bit to know each other. Really details, we know we're good players, there's other things I could have done better.
"For me it's more about in the game [vs Villa] I told Rodri 'please look for me in behind'. I said please. I also told Bernardo to put it in behind, it didn't happen but things take time. When we learn each other proper, the balls will come. I still got a lot of balls. Kyle's ball, Kevin's ball to turn into goals, the balls still come. We want crosses and passes all the time.
"Of couse, I won't stand here and say it was a good game [losing at Tottenham], it was a horrible game. Of course I get angry, the way I react is I speak with the people, try to play better with. We have practice in training, speak with the manager. It's not fun not having one shot on target, but it's life. Then it's a better motivation for the next game."
With Haaland's record-breaking start to life in the Premier League, Shearer asked the striker about how he's found the new division and whether he feels he can break Shearer's all-time goalscoring record in the competition.
"For me as a striker you cannot think of 'I want this record so bad'," Haaland said. "You get stressed, it's game by game. You have to focus on the next things to do, the next run. Being at the right position. For me the most important thing is chances and creating chances because that's a big step of scoring goals.
"I'm happy but there's more potential in this team. I'm not going to sound arrogant, of course I'm happy. It should have been more. I could have scored more of my chances, maybe had more chances.
"It's been as I thought, every game is a tough game. A tough competition, I enjoy being here, being in the middle of it, getting those knocks. I like it. It sounds psychopathic but I like getting knocks. It's good sometimes, we need it. I'm happy.
"If I've been having five big chances, maybe [I dont sleep]. For me the most important thing is to come the chances. If the chances come in every single game you're most likely going to score. That's what I'm focusing on, come to chances and focus on the next chance.
"I'm happy the Premier League is as hard as it is. I expected it to be this hard but didn't expect it to be this tight in every single game. Every single game."
