Erling Haaland and girlfriend Isabel Johansen make a splash on well-earned summer break

Erling Haaland is still enjoying some well deserved time off, as the Manchester City forward soaks up the sun in the South of France with his partner and friends.

The Norwegian superstar even performed something akin to a goal celebration as he leapt into the sea, while girlfriend Isabel Johansen on hand to tie back his flowing locks.

He was also pictured waterskiing as he showed that he is a man of many talents, with Isabel and his friends joining in the fun.

Isabel, 19, met Erling in their Norwegian home town of Bryne, where she was also a member of the club's academy.

They have remained close ever since, and began dating around the time the forward joined Borussia Dortmund.

A source previously said: “Their relationship seems to be pretty serious.

"Isabel has travelled to Germany and England to see Erling and now she’s been with him [on holiday].

“Isabel is well known for her beauty in Bryne. They’ve always known each other.”

The south of France is the latest stop-off point for Haaland and his partner having also been pictured partying on a boat in Ibiza earlier this week - where the star was joined by his dad, former City midfielder Alfie - and having attended teammate Aymeric Laporte's wedding in Spain.

Haaland, 22, is on an extended break after helping City secure the treble in his first season in English football with their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in last month's Champions League final.

The forward then scored three goals in Norway's Euro 2024 qualifiers against Scotland against Cyprus, taking his tally to scarcely believable 61 goals in 61 games for club and country across the 2022-23 season.

He is currently enjoying some down-time ahead of reporting for duty back at City, who are set to begin their pre-season training under Pep Guardiola on July 16 ahead of a tour to Japan and South Korea.

As well as team success with City last season, Haaland swept the board for individual honours as he picked up the Premier League Player of the season and Football Writers' Association Men's Player of the Season.

He also scored a record 36 Premier League goals to win the Golden Boot.

Speaking after winning the FWA award, he said: "I feel good, it's a special moment.

"I expected to do good things but, to do this, I didn't expect.

"I don't like to focus on the future or the past. I like to live in moment and I like to take it game-by-game - exactly what he (Guardiola) said we were going to do and that's what we did.

"We focused and we achieved exactly what we wanted to achieve. In then end it's unreal what we did, being behind all season and we came like a unit together. It was amazing and an amazing feeling."

After securing the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League with victory over Inter in Istanbul, Haaland paid tribute to Guardiola and said none of the success would be possible without him.

“We have a good relationship and he's helped me a lot. I look forward to developing even more," he said.

“I'm still young, I have a lot of years left.

“To be getting trained by him every day, the best coach in the world, it's a good place to be.

On securing City's first ever Champions League, he said: "[It’s] Unbelievable. In my wildest dreams I would never think of this as a 22-year-old me to be honest.

“But it shows that it's possible for a guy from a small town in Norway.

“This also gives, I think, motivation to other young people in my same kind of situation playing football in the indoor hall in my hometown.

"We have to defend what we achieved this season. That's how it works.

“In a month, two months everything is forgotten and we have to attack it again."
