Manchester United are reportedly eager to snap-up Benfica starlet Goncalo Ramos during the January transfer window.
That's according to reports in The Sun with United manager Erik ten Hag seemingly wowed by the Portugal striker and his prolific start to the season. Ramos, 21, has netted four goals and provided two assists in six appearances for Benfica during their early Liga Portugal charge.
He also scored four goals in as many Champions League qualifying matches. Ramos is valued at around £25million, while there is a staggering £100million release clause in his contract.

United are reported to have made contact with the player's agent as The Sun recognise a desire to strengthen this January amid question marks over Cristiano Ronaldo's future and Anthony Martial's fitness. It's claimed United might come calling as Ten Hag views Ramos as a bargain buy.
Ten Hag sanctioned moves for six players during his first window at the United helm. Antony was their only attack-minded recruit, though, as Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Martin Dubravka were also brought in by the Dutchman following his appointment as manager.
Elsewhere, reports from several online publications suggest United will revive their interest in Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen during the January window. Osimhen, 23, has long-since been linked with a transfer to Old Trafford having carved out his reputation in Serie A.
But transfer don Fabrizio Romano says he can't see Napoli selling the forward in the middle of the season.
Osimhen has scored 30 goals in 68 games since joining Napoli two years ago. However, there could be a stumbling block when it comes to that would-be pursuit as the Italians are claimed to value him at nine figures - while several other European clubs are said to be in the market for him.
