Erik ten Hag told transfer fees for 10 remaining Man Utd targets including striker bargain

Erik ten Hag isn't ready to settle up in his first transfer window at Manchester United.

The new Red Devils boss has already brought three fresh faces to Old Trafford, but wants to add even more before deadline day on September 1. With Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez all through the door, Ten Hag has revealed that he's keen to upgrade United’s midfield and attack before the summer window slams shut.

But, as the former Ajax manager will've come to realise, additions don't come cheap. That's where TransferRoom comes in, the online subscription platform used by professional clubs around the world to streamline and accelerate their all-important transfer business in an every-changing market.

Founded in 2017, TransferRoom shows clubs which players are available for transfer and facilitates communication between them, cutting out the middle men and even allowing clubs pitch their unwanted stars to potential buyers.

After fine-tuning the platform and seeing a boom during Covid-19 pandemic, the Expected Transfer Value is their latest feature, an algorithm that calculates how much it'd cost to sign a player based off a widespread amount of data, ranging from their individual profile to the selling club's financial clout.

Exclusively for Mirror Football , TransferRoom have estimated how much the Red Devils would have to fork out to sign 10 of Ten Hag's remaining targets.

Antony - €46.6m (£39.6m)

Kicking off with United's top target behind Frenkie de Jong - who's already been the subject of a £63million agreement with Barcelona - Antony is who Ten Hag wants to offset the impending departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Brazilian is an electric right-winger who can add a cutting edge to the Red Devils' lightweight attack, with Jadon Sancho carrying the right flank in pre-season.

At 22, Antony's best years are ahead of him, and while Ajax are believed to be demanding closer to £70m, the former Sao Paulo prodigy is valued at almost half that by TransferRoom. Sure to be a fan favourite if he does arrive, Antony would certainly have a hefty price tag to live up to.

Jurrien Timber - €54.2m (£44.58m)

Staying at the Johan Cruyff Arena for a player who's chances of leaving the Dutch capital this season look slim, but not completely quashed. Jurrien Timber is the Eredivisie's - if not Europe's - most coveted young centre-back, having already established himself as a fully-fledged Netherlands international ahead of the World Cup.

At club level, though, Timber's future looks to be away from Holland, with United keen to snap him up if the opportunity arises. If so, the versatile defender would reunite with Ten Hag for what's said be around £44.58m. With former Ajax teammate Martinez heading over first, however, the 21-year-old might have to wait another year until he can seal a Premier League move.

Youri Tielemans - €44.6m (£37.94m)

Speaking of the English top flight, the solution to the Red Devils' search for a deep-lying playmaker could be right under their noses, with Youri Tielemans believed to be available this summer thanks to having one year remaining on his Leicester City contract. The silky Belgian possesses many of the qualities De Jong has and would cost nearly half the price, according to TransferRoom.

With a deal seemingly much more doable than one at the centre of the Barcelona midfielder's transfer, 25-year-old Tielemans is a tried and tested option for Ten Hag, who admits that United's midfield is an area in dire need of reinforcements.

Ruben Neves - €42.5m (£36.16m)

Another Premier League star ready for a career step-up is Ruben Neves, having spent five years with Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Portuguese has continually been linked with a move to Old Trafford, however, and Ten Hag is reportedly considering him as another alternative to De Jong.

With an exceptional range of passing, eye for the spectacular goal and defensive attributes, it's hard to argue that the Red Devils wouldn't benefit from his arrival - especially for TransferRoom's calculated fee of £36.16m.

Ibrahim Sangare - €18m (£15.31m)

While being a Premier League-proven player is a brilliant string to have in your bow, Ten Hag clearly trusts players from the Dutch top tier to make the transition across the channel. Having signed Malacia and Martinez already, the 52-year-old is happy to take a gamble on the finest players that the Netherlands has to offer.

And if you're looking for a defensive midfielder, look no further than PSV Eindhoven's Ibrahim Sangare. The athletic Ivorian would perfectly compliment De Jong, Tielemans or Neves, with his focus on protecting the rearguard. It's what United have needed for years, and they can't ignore a bargain at £15.31m.

Kyle Walker-Peters - €21m (£17.87m)

Continuing with the theme of problem positions, right-back in an area which Ten Hag is keen to upgrade. With neither of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot shining overly bright in pre-season, Kyle Walker-Peters has emerged as a target. The Southampton ace has played on both sides of the defence at St Mary's, but is best as an attack-minded full-back on the right.

Having somewhat unfortunately failed to make the grade at Tottenham Hotspur, Walker-Peters has the bit between his teeth to make it at the top, and while Southampton will be desperate to cling onto him, TransferRoom reckons it'd take only £17.87m to draw him away from the south coast.

Ivan Toney - €41.3m (£35.14m)

Another southern investment could be Brentford striker Ivan Toney, as Ten Hag begins to ponder what his attack will look like without Ronaldo and only having Anthony Martial as a recognised no.9. While the latter has enjoyed a promising pre-season, Toney has emerged a surprise candidate to battle with him. The former Newcastle man wouldn't come cheap, though, with Brentford's marksman valued at a cool £35.14m.

Wissam Ben Yedder - €17.8m (£15.14m)

Over to Ligue 1 now and in terms of profile, the polar opposite to Toney. Nimble and pacey, Wissam Ben Yedder has taken the form that saw him shine at Sevilla until 2019 to Monaco, scoring 25 goals in 37 league games last term. Preparing for a fourth campaign in principality, the Frenchman has two years remaining on his contract and Old Trafford has been touted as his next destination.

Forward-thinking Monaco could be tempted to sell if the right offer comes in, with the 31-year-old able to add experience to a young Red Devils front line. If United are able to bag him for a bargain going rate of £15.14m, it'd be a savvy bit of business and some short-term relief for Ten Hag.

Sasa Kalajdzic - €17m (£14.46m)

A less proven, more long-term solution who's been tipped for a big-money transfer this summer is Stuttgart striker Sala Kalajdzic. The 25-year-old Austrian has been linked with a switch to Manchester, with reports ramping up after Ronaldo's transfer request. With Bayern Munich also monitoring him, £14.46m is a price that might quickly rise. Oh, and did we mention that he's six-foot seven-inches?

Neymar could be the superstar to replace Ronaldo (John Berry/Getty Images)

Neymar - €61.1m (£51.98m)

Last and definitely the most outlandish potential deal on this list, reports from Spain earlier in the transfer window suggested that United had been contacted by Neymar's agents with a view to a move. Amid a summer of upheaval at Paris Saint-Germain, their superstar was linked with a departure, five years on from his £198m transfer from Barcelona.

Whether Ten Hag and co quickly rejected the proposal or the Brazil forward, now 30, convinced Parc des Princes chiefs to keep him on the wage ball, the rumours quickly went quiet. Still, if the bigwigs at Old Trafford want a star name to replace Ronaldo, a whopping £51.98m is what an evolving PSG would expect.
